I spent my Independence Day fireworks show talking to a New Zealand chemist about our American tradition of blowing things up to celebrate our independence. We also discussed New Zealand’s tradition of blowing things up on Guy Fawkes night as well as National Sorry Day.
We need some better holidays in America.
